- Support and perform maintenance across product and data environments/systems.
- Proactively monitor events, investigate issues, analyze solutions, and drive problems through to resolution.
- Maintain the network environment; utilize all provided utilities, tools, and applications to ensure high service availability.
- Respond to network/system alarms; take appropriate action to classify, prioritize, and resolve issues.
- Provide critical service outage notifications and escalate issues for timely resolution to appropriate teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: Bachelor's degree or a related technical field with minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Data Center Operations, IT Support, or Systems Administration.
- Hardware Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise server architecture (e.g., Dell, HPE etc) and storage systems.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic Linux command line operations and fundamental network troubleshooting. Understanding of high availability & redundancy: PDU, EFU, server hardware, RAID and network connectivity.
- Process Adherence: Strong operational discipline regarding security compliance, change management processes, and data center best practices (e.g., hot/cold aisle containment).
- Hands-on experience: Remote access technologies: iDRAC & ILO. Network equipment installation, Server configuration and monitoring experience.
- Proficiency in system process monitoring: logs, event evaluations, temperature monitoring and performance tuning.
Soft skills:
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with technical writing abilities.
- Strong teamwork, cross-team cooperation, and customer-service-oriented mindset.
