Site Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Structural Engineer to join our project team for major building construction projects in Qatar.

This position is strictly for candidates with extensive Tier-1 Main Contractor experience in the execution of large-scale building construction projects. Candidates whose experience is primarily with consultants, design firms, engineering consultancies, precast companies, subcontractors, or fabrication companies will not be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all structural technical aspects of the project, including shop drawing reviews, structural coordination, consultant approvals, Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) reviews, BIM coordination, and site execution support from project commencement through handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of total professional experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with Tier-1 Main Contractors executing major building construction projects.
• Proven experience delivering:
• High-rise Towers
• Commercial Buildings
• Residential Developments
• Mixed-use Projects
• Hospitality Projects
• Healthcare Buildings
• Strong contractor-side experience in:
• Structural Shop Drawings
• Reinforcement Detailing
• Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
• Builder's Works Coordination
• Structural Material Submittals
• RFIs
• Technical Queries (TQs)
• Consultant Approvals
• Extensive experience coordinating Structural, Architectural, Civil, MEP, Façade, and Steel disciplines.
• Previous experience on major building construction projects in Qatar or GCC.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred

• MMUP / UPDA Registration.
• Knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
• Experience using Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, or similar document management systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
