Turn your patrol and emergency-response experience into a year-round mountain leadership career. At Woodward Park City, you will help lead patrol operations across winter snow activities, summer bike operations, indoor and outdoor facilities, and special events.

As the Patrol Assistant Manager, you'll help lead one of the most unique year-round patrol operations in the industry. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Patrol and Risk, you'll guide daily patrol operations, support emergency response readiness, develop team members, and help shape a culture of safety, accountability, and exceptional guest service. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys both managing people and staying actively involved in patrol and emergency response operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily operations of the Patrol Department.

• Supervise, coach, and develop Patrol team members.

• Manage staffing plans, schedules, and operational coverage.

• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.

• Coordinate emergency response and incident management activities.

• Promote compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

• Conduct operational reviews and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with leaders across Operations, Facilities, Progression, and Talent & Culture.

• Help ensure year-round readiness for both winter mountain operations and summer bike patrol activities.

What We're Looking For

Required At Application:

• Demonstrated leadership experience in patrol, EMS, emergency response, mountain operations, recreation safety, or a related operation.

• Current EMT, OEC, or Athletic Trainer credential, or ability to obtain/transfer the required Utah credential before starting.

• Advanced skiing or snowboarding ability.

• Valid driver’s license.

Required Before Independent Field Assignment:

• CPR certification.

• Demonstrated winter patrol competency.

• Demonstrated bike-patrol or wheeled-litter competency.

• Lift evacuation competency.

Preferred:

• Previous year-round patrol leadership.

• Advanced mountain biking.

• Ski-area lift evacuation leadership.

• Staffing, scheduling, training, and incident-review experience.
