Social Worker - Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for a Locum Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Team at North Lincolnshire.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will:

• Undertaking Complex Assessments and Care Planning
• Carry out holistic, strength-based assessments under the Care Act 2014 to identify needs, risks, and desired outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities or mental health conditions.
• Safeguarding and Risk Management
• Respond to safeguarding concerns, assess capacity under the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and implement protection plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable adults.
• Promoting Recovery and Independence
• Collaborate with health professionals, families, and community services to support individuals in achieving greater autonomy, accessing appropriate housing, employment, and therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
