THE JOB:

At The Mansion at MGM Grand, every detail is thoughtfully curated to create an extraordinary guest experience. As the Special Events & Services Manager, you’ll lead the planning and execution of a diverse range of events, from casino marketing and sponsorship activations to property, cross-property, and corporate events. This role calls for creativity, flexibility, and exceptional attention to detail, along with the ability to support our Villa Services and Butler teams during periods of lower event activity. You’ll have the opportunity to create memorable experiences while delivering the elevated service and personalized attention that defines The Mansion.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Serve as an open-minded, solution-driven, and creative project manager through all stages of event planning, including planning, execution, and reconciliation
• Organize production meetings and schedules to coordinate and track invitations, décor, audiovisual requirements, convention set-up, staffing, safety and gaming compliance, overall set-up, and strike
• Provide on-site management of events, ensuring timing, execution, and challenge resolution meet the high standards of MGM Resorts International
• Serve as a liaison and account manager for management, staff, vendors, guests, departments, and divisions on all relevant matters
• Provide financial oversight and daily budget management for assigned events
• Determine appropriate creative solutions and project management needs, support strategic initiatives and seek innovative opportunities for new internal and external clients

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Two (2) years of prior relevant Events experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, bilingual highly preferred
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
