Sr. Back End Developer - NodeJs

iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

You will:

• Design and implement NodeJS backend component and APIs
• Develop and own the applicationAPI layer
• Organize code to make the API layer scalable, robust and secure
• Deploy and architect services in AWS infrastructure
• Continuously integrate, unit test, and use automation to ensure stable deliverables

Qualifications

Technical skills:

• Relevant experience with NodeJS framework OR
• 5+ years professional experience of Java/J2EE development and deep knowledge of JavaScript
• Clear understanding of JavaScript fundamentals

Experience level

• BS in Computer Science, Computer/ Engineering or equivalent
• Strong Java programming skills
• Strong experience with using Relational Databases (MySQL/Postgres)
• Strong experience with API design

Other areas of competency

• Exposure to AWS infrastructure and deployment is a plus
• Expertise with testing (unit tests, integration tests, etc.)
• Experience in an environment with rapid product development cycles
• Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
