Sr. Facilities Engineer
Energy - Oil / Refinery / Drilling
Act as Project Manager maintaining scope, cost, schedule and quality for assigned projects • Responsible for designing and recommending plans of development for company assets • Work with Operations group to determine facility needs to keep up with drilling activity and identify critical processing bottle necks prior to curtailing production • Ensure that assigned facilities projects are executed in accordance with agreed plans, standards, and regulatory requirements as applicable • Liaise with field operations to ensure that the impacts of project-related activities are minimized and properly managed • Coordinate with Production, Regulatory and HSE personnel to assure compliance, safety and appropriate integration of facility systems • Accountability for advising Production Engineering Manager and Field Superintendent(s) on operational matters • Travel periodically and as required to various office and work site locations • Additional special projects and duties as directed by management. Knowledge of engineering principles and practices for evaluation and application of on-shore gas and liquids transportation and processing.
Qualifications
needs to have experience with separation, treating, condensate stabilization, dehydration, pumps and compressors. • Knowledge and experience with on-shore pipeline engineering specifications and design standards (ASME and DOT). • Strong background in designing oil and gas facilities from the wellhead to the sale meter. • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations, industry standards, and "best practices" in regard to building or modifying gas and liquids transportation facilities. • Must possess self-motivation and initiative to recognize, analyze and recommend alternative solutions to problems and issues. • Must possess the ability to integrate commercial and technical requirements to successfully develop project solutions Education & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, required (Mechanical Engineering, preferred) • 8+ years of experience working with mid-sized upstream producer/operator • Must be able to handle multiple assignments with deadlines and constantly changing priorities • Possess a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and ability to work effectively with changing priorities.
