ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking aSr. Global Optics Process Engineerto join ourSYLUXdevelopmentteam,workbased inGoleta,California.TheSr. Global Optics Process Engineercandidatewillleadthedevelopment ofoptical test and calibration systemsforhigh volume manufacturing ofinfraredimaging camerasforADAS applications.

Major responsibilities:

Develop optical test equipmentand burn-in requirements supporting RFQ’s and supplier technical evaluations.Architect, develop and deploy globally, standardized optical test and calibration system software. Global process ownership.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum20+ years experiencein Test Engineering and Opticsfor ADAS cameras

• BS/MS in EE, Physics and/or Systems Engineering.

• Proven track record developinghigh volume, intrinsic calibration, active alignment and end-of-line functional test equipment hardware and software.

• Expertisedeveloping optical test and environmental test software, including MTF, intrinsic calibration and dynamic monitoring of camera performance during environmental stress tests.

• Experience improving manufacturing yields, cycle times and process capabilities.

• Understanding of ADAS camera performance metrics, infrared camera experience a plus.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Effective working in a global team environment.
