Sr. Healthcare Project Manager

Motocol is recruiting for our client

Responsible for multiple mid-sized scale projects with hands on project management experience on projects and project teams to deliver business solutions and services. Defines project charters, project planning, project scoping and project delivery. Contributes and improves project management methodology, working within the PMO to execute project plans. Coordinates with Executive Sponsors, Process Owners, Project Directors, Project Managers, and various other individuals and teams to execute project plans. This position will be business facing and is not an IT PM role.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Should be able to manage 4-5 mid-sized projects or 1-2 large sized projects simultaneously

Develop project plan, risk mitigation strategy, traceability matrix.

Develop project budget and tracking to the budget.

Employs best practices and standards and has understanding of the key project metrics.

Should be comfortable managing changing & competing priorities.

Should be able to manage difficult stakeholders

Should have strong analytical skills and must be able to ramp up quickly to the application domain and company processes.

Should have experience developing presentations and presenting them to senior executives

Should be able to improve existing processes and create new processes for efficiency and to improve quality.

Should have some technical application development background to understand the requirements and design of the project to engage the right resources and provide accurate estimates.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Must have 5 -7 years of experience managing projects.

Experience with Project Methodologies, such as: Waterfall, Agile, Scrum

Experience with MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word.

Great Interpersonal Skills

Excellent Communication Skills

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

SDLC knowledge

PMP Certification and/or Management Consulting experience

2-3 years Health Plan experience, preferably with exposure to utilization management, care management and/or disease management
