Sr. Information Technology Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Server installations and setups. This is to include Multi platforms such as Windows 2008, 2012 and 2003 Servers, Linus and Unix Servers, and VMWare ESX Servers
• Install personal computer hardware and software packages.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the PMS and POS System and all devices
• Responsible for the maintenance of the Agilysys pin pads
• Responsible for the maintenance and software updates to CSPI’s server, Windows 2003/2008/2012 DNS and Active Directory Servers.
• Provides training to customers in the use of their software, hardware and phone systems.
• Assembles and installs PC hardware, investigates and resolves routine hardware and communications problems.
• Understands and uses PC Computers including peripheral devices, laptops and smart phones.
• Understands and uses all windows operating systems, Linux and Unix.
• Performs system administrative duties, installs new operating systems, PTF’s and application system software.
• Performs and verifies system and data backups.
• Assists Network Management including development implementation of wiring configuration standards connectivity solutions, overall network operation systems, network software, server hardware configurations, network file systems and directory structure.
• LAN/WAN System integrity and security.
  
• Creates and installs packages and deploying system
• Updating public platforms.
• Lock interrogations.

Skill Requirements:

• AA Degree in Computer Science or related field plus three (3) years of computer experience working with networks
• 3-5 years’ experience in the hotel field
