Overview
The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for working with the Development team to understand new functions and features under development. They set up test cases to test all functions of new developments. The Senior QA Engineer manage a team of Test Engineers in the testing process in the Azure DevOps environment. Some management experience required.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Working with the Development team to understand new functions and features that are currently under development.
• Setting up test cases of those functions based on functionality requirement.
• Manage a team of testers.
• Manage and analyze testing progress in Azure DevOps environment.
• Additional duties as required.
Requirements
• College/University degree, with a focus in Computer Science or Data Science.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work with Azure Test Cases and set up Unit Testing pipelines.
• Ability to create and manage Test Reports and Workflows.
• Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
• Remote, office, or hybrid work environment depending on specific position.
• Detail-oriented problem-solving mindset.
• Organized and focused enough to work independently as a role player within a team environment.
• Leadership qualities including the ability to give/take feedback, recognition of when to delegate, and confidence.
