Sr. Set-up Technician - Metals (1st Shift)

The Set-Up Technician supports the production needs of the operation by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines in theMachine Shop.

1st Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Set-up, operate, and maintain equipmentas needed to support operations
• Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed
• Complete 1st piece inspection prior to release for production
• Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipment
• Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees
• Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in bothwritten and verbalforms
• Organizing and maintaining the order and cleanliness of equipment, storage areas andtheMachine Shopas a whole
• Other duties and projectsasdeterminedby production and business needs​

Education, Skills,and Experience:

• High SchoolDiplomaorequivalentrequired
• Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience preferred
• Must demonstrate understandingand working knowledgeof equipment used to support production
• Established ability to identify and communicate issues and offer proposed solutions
• Greatattention to detailis required
• Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential
• Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
• Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Forklift certification
