Staff Accountant

SEC Reporting Accountant for a large public company in SFV area candidates

SEC Reporting Accountant position:

SEC filings including, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K

Prepare documentation on the application of GAAP to non-routine transactions

Research and monitor new GAAP pronouncements and analyze their impact on the company

Prepare documentation of proposed and executed accounting transactions

Prepare and implement new policies and procedures in relation to new accounting pronouncements.

Qualifications

6 months+ of accounting experience (internships will be considered)

Bachelor's degree with Accounting/Finance/Business background

Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and organize effectively

Must have strong work ethic and ability to work hours necessary to meet deadlines
