Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant

Our client is a non-profit in the Film industry looking to add a staff accountant. Pay is $40,000 plus benefits

• Assist in Complete=General Ledger operations

• Prepare Journal Entries
  

• Administer month end close process and prepare divisional financial statements

• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet account balances (AR, AP, Cash, Bad Debt, etc.)

• Assist with the preparation and coordination of external audits

• Assist with month end analysis & ad-hoc reporting

• Ensure financial records are compliant with GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Financed required

•1-3 years of experience in the Accounting/Finance field required

• Average proficiency in MS Excel

• Knowledge of standard accounting policies and procedures preferred

• Strong written and communicative skills

• Ability to multitask
