This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Supervisor(a) de Montagem BOPm based in Brazil.

This role is responsible for supervising the mechanical Balance of Plant (BOPm) assembly and installation activities at hydroelectric and small hydroelectric power plants.
You’ll coordinate field execution to ensure projects meet schedules, contractual requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.
Working closely with site and construction management, you’ll plan activities and ensure the availability of qualified personnel, tools, equipment, and other resources.
You’ll oversee third-party teams, monitor their performance, and ensure all work follows established procedures and safety requirements.
The position also involves managing technical documentation, addressing non-conformities, and coordinating solutions with engineering teams.
You’ll contribute to customer training, provide ongoing technical support, and share lessons learned to improve future projects.
This is a field-oriented opportunity for an experienced mechanical assembly professional comfortable working across project locations and traveling frequently.

• Supervise mechanical Balance of Plant (BOPm) assembly and installation activities at hydroelectric and small hydroelectric power plants.

• Ensure field activities are completed according to project schedules, contractual requirements, technical specifications, and established quality standards.

• Collaborate with site and construction managers to plan the sequence of activities and coordinate the workforce, tools, equipment, and resources required for execution.

• Monitor the competency, performance, and work quality of third-party contractors and ensure compliance with technical procedures and quality requirements.

• Ensure all assembly and installation activities comply with company safety standards and applicable local regulations.

• Promote safe working practices and protect the integrity of personnel, equipment, and project assets.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date control of technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

• Identify and document non-conformities through NCRs and coordinate technical solutions with engineering teams.

• Provide technical support during and after assembly activities to help ensure reliable system operation.

• Deliver training to customer teams on the operation of installed systems and relevant equipment.

• Monitor field execution and communicate project progress, issues, risks, and technical requirements to relevant stakeholders.

• Analyze assembly processes and share lessons learned with engineering and project teams to support continuous improvement and future project execution.

Requirements

• Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical, Electrotechnical, or a related technical field.

• Previous experience supervising BOPm assembly activities in hydroelectric power plants.

• Strong practical knowledge of mechanical assembly and installation activities within power-generation projects.

• Experience supervising contractors and coordinating field teams in accordance with technical, quality, and safety requirements.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and other engineering documentation.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple field activities and priorities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with site management, contractors, customers, and engineering teams.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and compliance.

• Ability to identify non-conformities and coordinate appropriate technical solutions.

• Intermediate Spanish proficiency is required.

• Intermediate English proficiency is an advantage.

• Availability for frequent domestic and international travel and assignments at project sites.

• Ability to work effectively in remote project environments and adapt to changing site requirements.
