About the role
To support Global Supplier Relationship Managers (SRMs) by assisting in procurement processes, supplier performance tracking, and administrative tasks. This role will focus on executing key supplier interactions, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to procurement projects under the guidance of senior team members. Success in this position involves maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, supporting procurement initiatives, and fostering continuous improvement within the supply chain function.

The Global Supplier Representative will play a supporting role in ensuring supplier excellence, maintaining compliance, and contributing to procurement best practices.
Responsibilities
- Supplier Support & Engagement: Assist Global SRMs in supplier communications, maintain accurate supplier records, and support the development of strong, collaborative relationships.
- Procurement Process Assistance: Support sourcing activities, such as requests for information (RFI) and requests for proposal (RFP), ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance metrics, compile reports, and flag issues to Global SRMs for resolution. Support Global SRMs in QBR supplier reviews by assisting with agenda items, performance tracking, and action follow-ups.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain supplier databases, update procurement systems, and generate reports for key supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
- Administrative Support: Assist with contract documentation, compliance tracking, and record-keeping to ensure alignment with procurement policies. Support administrative duties for quotation requests for shipping and logistics, as well as order clarification and configuration.
- Continuous Improvement Contributions: Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and contribute to procurement initiatives that enhance workflow and supplier engagement.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to support procurement projects and initiatives.
- Compliance & Ethical Standards: Ensure that all procurement activities align with internal policies and industry regulations while maintaining high ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of procurement software, Microsoft Excel, and data management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Prior experience or internship in procurement, supply chain, or supplier management
- Familiarity with contract management and procurement best practices
- Interest in pursuing professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM
