Sustainability Specialist

Overview

Working closely with the Senior Manager – Sustainability, this role ensures the effective integration of sustainability principles into Transmed’s operations by supporting data management, compliance, reporting and employee engagement initiatives across all markets.

Responsibilities

Support Sustainability Strategy Implementation:

• Responsible of execution and coordination of sustainability initiatives across all markets, supporting projects related to carbon reduction, energy efficiency, waste management and operational sustainability.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Collect, consolidate and validate sustainability data from all markets, maintain tracking tools and dashboards.
• Work closely with external consulting partners to support ESG reporting, providing technical sustainability expertise across reporting activities.

Market Engagement & Stakeholder Coordination:

• Support collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, NGOs, and external partners to facilitate sustainability initiatives, follow up on action plans and ensure timely execution of activities.

Foster a Culture of Sustainability:

• Assist in organizing sustainability campaigns, trainings, workshops and employee engagement activities to promote awareness.
• Assist in benchmarking Transmed's sustainability practices against industry peers and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or a related field
• Sustainability certification (e.g. IEMA, GRI basics, CDP foundations) is a plus.
• Prior exposure to sustainability, ESG reporting, environmental compliance or a related field through full-time, part-time, or internship experience is an advantage.
• Experience within the FMCG, supply chain or logistics sectors is a plus.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, GHG Protocol, CDP, SDGs)
• Understanding of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and carbon accounting basics
