Job Summary
MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Tapping Machine Operator - 2nd Shift at our Saegertown, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate mechanical production equipment, inspect parts for quality, perform basic troubleshooting, and support safe, efficient production. No prior experience is required.
Location: Saegertown, PA
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM with occasional weekends
Pay: $18/hour
Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly
Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.
What You'll Do as a Tapping Machine Operator
Operate assigned mechanical production equipment efficiently and safely.
Monitor produced parts to ensure they meet quality requirements.
Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and make necessary adjustments.
Use basic measuring instruments to verify product specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints when applicable.
Complete first-piece inspections as needed.
Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Basic precision measurement skills.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, including blueprints when applicable.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role requires standing for extended periods.
Employees in this role may lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
The position may require pushing or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Frequent bending and stooping are required.
The role requires the dexterity to handle small objects.
Work is performed in a noisy manufacturing environment.
