We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead to oversee daily workflow operations, elevate team performance, and drive operational excellence. What You'll Do
As a Team Lead, you will balance operational oversight with mentorship, ensuring your team hits its goals while maintaining top-tier quality standards.
- Workflow & Operations Management: Manage and prioritize daily team workflows to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule against strict deadlines.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conduct routine quality checks to guarantee accuracy, maintain alignment with client scorecards, and meet internal expectations.
- Coaching & Team Support: Serve as the first point of contact for escalations, questions, and daily coaching, actively fostering professional growth and performance improvement.
- Training & Onboarding: Assist with new-hire onboarding, ongoing training, and the smooth rollout of new departmental procedures.
- Reporting & Audits: Support internal audits, client data requests, scorecard rebuttals, reporting initiatives, and special projects.
- Process Improvement: Spot workflow bottlenecks, share data-driven recommendations with leadership, and help implement process enhancements.
- Hands-On Production Support: Maintain a small individual file portfolio and pitch in directly during peak volume periods or staffing gaps.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, creditor rights, mortgage servicing, or related legal operations (including 1+ year in a leadership, senior, or supervisory capacity).
- Solid understanding of mortgage default servicing and legal workflows.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workflows, mentor peers, and analyze performance metrics.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal case management platforms (e.g., Perfect Practice).
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
