What you’ll be doing
This is a 70% field / 30% planning role, giving you the best of both worlds, leading on the ground while staying close to the bigger picture.
You’ll be:
Leading and supporting a crew of technicians, fitters, and cable jointers
Planning and coordinating staff, plant, and resources to keep work moving
Driving performance in the field, setting the standard for safety, quality, and productivity
Overseeing fault response, maintenance, and project work across the network
Coaching and developing your team to lift capability and build a strong culture
Working closely with project teams and stakeholders to deliver outcomes

Solid experience in electricity distribution / power system construction
Proven ability to lead field-based teams and get the best out of people
Strong understanding of network operations (faults, maintenance, protection)
EWRB registration and practising licence (or close to it)
Someone who leads by example, practical, calm under pressure, and respected on site
Full Class 1 licence
