Technician / Trainee Technician - Consumer Appliances

Job Purpose

The job incumbent will be responsible for diagnosis and repairing customers’ home appliances and perform tasks to ensure that equipment operate as per established standards and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose faulty equipment and ensure repair and perform general testing
• Ensure to cascade to Senior or Chief Technicians in complex interventions or any issue affecting progress of repair
• Ensure with overall technical team for constant system status update, necessary technical remarks, resources & items cost
• Liaise with customer service department on technical matters for prompt feedback to customers
• Carry out indoor and outdoor interventions

Requirements

• Certificate from a technical or vocational school or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in servicing and repairs of electronic products
• Be a good team player with the ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
• Holder of a valid driving license
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Special information

The job incumbent will be required in the performance of his duties to drive a company vehicle to attend to on-site interventions.
