ACCIONA Construction is looking for a Temporary Works Manager to be based in the Philippines. The role will be key to ensuring the proper planning, coordination, design management and technical assurance of temporary works required for the safe construction of bridge structures, including marine and over-water temporary structures, in line with project needs, technical specifications, safety standards and operational requirements.

Job Description:

The Temporary Works Design Manager is responsible for leading the design, coordination, and technical assurance of all temporary works required to safely construct the bridge structures. This includes marine platforms, falsework, formwork, launching gantries, cofferdams, piling templates, working platforms, lifting systems, and access structures in challenging offshore or over-water environments.

Reports To: Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of all temporary works for marine bridge construction activities.
• Develop safe, efficient, and constructible temporary works solutions including cofferdams, falsework, formwork, working platforms, piling frames, lifting systems, and marine access structures.
• Review design briefs, engineering requirements, and construction methodologies to define temporary works scope and objectives.
• Ensure temporary works designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate integration of temporary works with permanent works design and construction sequencing.
• Liaise with permanent works designers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Total Experience: 15 years
• Experience in similar position: 10 years
• Strong structural engineering knowledge of temporary works systems in marine construction environments and offshore conditions.
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional English
