Alvarado Parkway Institute (API) is a free-standing psychiatric hospital in La Mesa, California with four Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization Programs. Alvarado Parkway Institute (API) provides comprehensive adult inpatient behavioral health and addictive disorders services in a 66-bed hospital setting located in La Mesa, California. API offers a variety of Outpatient Services designed to assist patients in functioning at the highest level. API provides Partial Hospitalization services and Intensive Outpatient services. Alvarado Parkway Institute is seeking a qualified clinician, licensed or registered to join our team as a Full-Time Treatment Coordinator for our Outpatient Services Program in San Diego, 5538 University Avenue. Clients served at the San Diego site include mono-lingual Spanish speakers, persons with trauma and abuse, and people who may be navigating an intellectual disability and a co-occurring mental health issue. Mindfulness and SMART recovery based treatment is also provided at this site.

The successful candidate will have sound clinical experience in the facilitation of group psychotherapy, can provide brief solution-focused individual psychotherapy and have excellent documentation skills. Familiarity in developing treatment plans, self-harm intervention plans, and conducting psychosocial assessments preferred.

Job Type:

This is a Full-Time, Monday thru Friday position

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, MFT, psychology, or equivalent master’s degree required.
• Registration or Licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, or Board of Psychology is required.
• Licensed with BBS or BOP preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, experienced in facilitation of group therapy; time management skills.
