About this role
Metropolitan Companies is seeking a motivated Treasury & Financial Analyst to join our growing team. Reporting to the Director of Treasury, this role offers exposure to both corporate treasury functions and project-level financial analysis, making it an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a well-rounded finance skill set.

Key Responsibilities
Treasury
- Support daily cash positioning, bank account monitoring, and liquidity reporting
- Assist with intercompany funding activity and internal lending administration
- Prepare treasury reporting and reconciliations for management review
- Support periodic bank account access reviews and internal control procedures
- Assist with ad hoc treasury projects, including process documentation and system improvements
Financial Analysis
- Partner with accounting on month-end close to ensure P&Ls are completed accurately and on time
- Assist in preparing management presentations and reporting deliverables to meet deadlines
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, systems, and reporting tools
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships
- High proficiency in Excel; VBA and financial modeling skills strongly preferred
- Background in construction and/or accounting a plus
