Treasury Operations Officer

Role Purpose :

To support the day-to-day Treasury Operations by ensuring accurate and timely execution of cash and banking transactions, maintaining proper bank records and documentation, supporting bank reconciliations, and assisting in effective cash-flow management while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Treasury Operations

• Execute daily treasury transactions in accordance with approved company procedures.
• Process bank transfers, payments, deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions.
• Ensure all treasury transactions are properly authorized and supported by the required documentation.
• Follow up on pending bank transactions and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash and bank transactions.

2. Bank Reconciliation & Monitoring

• Support the preparation of daily/weekly bank reconciliations.
• Match bank statements with company records and identify any discrepancies.
• Investigate and follow up on outstanding or unidentified transactions.
• Ensure timely recording and clearance of bank-related transactions.

3. Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash and bank balances.
• Support the preparation of daily cash position reports.
• Assist in ensuring sufficient liquidity is available to meet operational payment requirements.
• Coordinate with the Finance and Accounting teams regarding upcoming payments and cash requirements.

4. Banking Relations

• Follow up with banks regarding transfers, deposits, payment confirmations, and other banking activities.
• Maintain proper records of bank correspondence and transaction confirmations.
• Support the preparation of documents required by banks.

5. Documentation & Controls

• Maintain organized and accurate treasury files and transaction documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support audit requirements by providing accurate treasury documentation when requested.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and banking information.

6. Reporting

• Prepare regular treasury reports as requested by the Treasury Manager / Finance Manager.
• Provide accurate information regarding cash balances, bank transactions, and outstanding items.
• Escalate any unusual transactions, discrepancies, or potential risks to the direct manager.

7. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, HR, and other departments regarding payment requirements.
• Ensure smooth flow of information and documentation between Treasury and other Finance functions.

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Additional banking or finance certifications are an advantage.

Experience

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Banking Operations, Finance Operations, or a similar role.
• Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Candidates residing in 10th of Ramadan City or nearby areas are preferred.
• Male candidates are preferred.
• Ability to work from the company's location in 10th of Ramadan City.
