The role of the Trust Officer is to provide functional support and conduct activities relative to the operation of the department, and Company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gathering and reviewing initial data, documents, and other information provided by the client
- Respond to client queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare correspondence to beneficiaries and interested parties as needed
- Company incorporation and establish Trusts with related regulatory filings
- Ensures account is in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements relating to governing documents
- Preparing fiduciary requests/distributions, monitoring and execution of instructions preparation of minutes and other ancillary documents related thereto
- Compiling and assembling information, data input, spreadsheet support and output
- Providing administrative support to individuals or departments regionally
- Conduct regular account reviews to identify additional requirements and/or deficits.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Retain current industry trends, regulatory changes, and investment market dynamics
- Preparing reports for Management
- General administrative duties i.e.: Recording and file maintenance, mail distribution, answering telephones, writing memos, etc. as directed
- Following established procedures, methods, and practices
- Other duties as assigned by Department Manager.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2- 3 years’ work experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong adherence to professional standards and confidentiality
