Responsibilities

Oversee underwriting activities across Property and Engineering insurance lines, ensuring consistent evaluation and management of risks

Review and assess underwriting decisions within delegated authority levels and support the handling of complex or non-standard cases

Ensure underwriting practices are aligned with internal policies, pricing principles, and operational standards

Monitor underwriting quality and maintain accurate and consistent documentation standards

Support, guide, and mentor underwriting team members in their day-to-day activities and professional development

Assist in workload coordination and contribute to the efficient management of underwriting operations

Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, and exposure across assigned business lines

Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Economics, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in commercial insurance underwriting, particularly within Property and/or Engineering business lines
- Prior exposure to complex risk assessment and portfolio management will be considered beneficial
- Experience working within corporate or mid-market insurance environments is preferred
- Solid understanding of underwriting methodologies, policy structures, and market practices
- Comfortable using underwriting platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with sound judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently
- Commercially minded with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative and fast-paced environment
