The role sits at the heart of storytelling for the group — translating complex, global, and often technical activity into compelling content that builds brand authority, supports commercial objectives, and strengthens the personal brands of senior leadership.
You will work closely with the Art Director, Head of Communications, Head of Marketing, senior stakeholders, and external partners to plan, create and deliver content across digital, social, internal and external channels, ensuring consistency of tone, quality and messaging while adapting content appropriately for different audiences and brands.

You will work closely with the Art Director, Head of Communications, Head of Marketing, senior stakeholders, and external partners to plan, create and deliver content across digital, social, internal and external channels, ensuring consistency of tone, quality and messaging while adapting content appropriately for different audiences and brands.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit high-quality content across visual content (short-form video, photography, graphics)
- Support on day-to-day content creation for Peninsula’s digital and social platforms, including LinkedIn and website updates
- Produce tailored content for the CEOs’ other businesses and personal brand activity, ensuring each brand retains a distinct voice while aligning with overarching values and standards
- Plan and manage content calendars across multiple brands, balancing reactive content with planned campaigns
- Translate complex topics (e.g. global markets, shipping, energy, investment, sport, or entrepreneurship) into clear, engaging and accessible storytelling
- Work closely with MarComms to capture insights, opinions and thought leadership through interviews, events and day‑to‑day engagement
- Support internal communications through engaging storytelling, video updates and visual content
- Ensure all content is on-brand, accurate, and aligned with corporate messaging and reputational priorities
- Monitor performance of content across platforms and adapt output based on engagement and insight with wider Marketing Team
- Support major campaigns, announcements and events with creative content assets
- Manage external suppliers where required (videographers, designers, photographers)
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Essential
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Content Executive, Digital Content Producer or similar role
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and brands
- Experience creating content across social media, websites and digital channels
- Video filming and editing capability (short-form, social-first content)
- Strong visual awareness and an eye for quality and consistency
- Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and translating their ideas into engaging content
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Technical Skills
- Full proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:
o Adobe InDesign
o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Photoshop
o Adobe Premiere Pro
- Basic understanding of:
o Motion / video editing workflows. (After Effects or motion graphics)
o Social media formats and specs
o Content optimisation for digital platforms
