Envisioning the growth of the multidisciplinary engineering team, Active Space Technologies seeks an Project Engineer, who is willing to be challenged and develop their skill set within a talented, passioned and cooperative team.

Duties and Responsabilities:

• Researching state-of-the-art technologies;
• Designing digital and analogue electronic circuits;
• SPICE modelling and simulation;
• Developing embedded software for microcontrollers;
• Prototyping and testing electronic systems;
• Producing technical documentation on each step of the development cycle.

Experience Requirements:

Key Technical Knowledge

• Basic RF Design Knowledge;
• Digital and analogue electronic circuits design;
• SPICE simulations;
• PCB layout design;

Practical Experience

The following expertise is an added value for this position:

• Characterizing and specifying RF systems;
• Selecting and designing RF topologies;
• Analysing, understanding, designing and simulating RF and analogue circuits;•Operating RF test equipment;
• PCB layout design using Altium Designer;
• Developing embedded software for microcontrollers systems using C;
• Designing for ECSS or aeronautic standards, such as DO-254

Languages

• English full professional proficiency is added value;
• Portuguese proficiency is added value;
• Any other language skills may be added value.

Qualifications

Higher degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g. Electronics, Aerospace, Physics
