As a VRS, you’ll work directly with individuals and local employers to turn career goals into real opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one career guidance, job readiness, and employment support.
• Help individuals identify strengths, interests, and career goals.
• Assist with applications, interviews, onboarding, and on-the-job coaching.
• Build relationships with local employers and identify inclusive employment opportunities.
• Support workplace accommodations, assistive technology, and natural supports.
• Track progress and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Provide community/employment transportation when needed, with mileage reimbursed.

What We’re Looking For

You qualify through one of the following pathways:

Required:

• A relevant work or life experience
  supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current insurance.
• Willingness to travel throughout the service area.
• Ability to successfully complete required background and drug screenings.

Experience in the following is a plus:

• Vocational rehabilitation
• Employment services or job coaching
• Workforce development
• Human or disability services
• Case management
• Working with veterans or individuals with disabilities
