We are hiring experienced construction professionals to support water and wastewater treatment plant construction and heavy civil/mechanical projects. Based on your background, experience, and project needs, candidates may be interviewed and selected for one of the following three roles:
Underground Water Utilities/Mechanical Pipe Workers
(Pipefitters/Mechanical Pipe Hand
Structural Concrete Carpenters
(Concrete Structures - Treatment Plants & Utilities)
Water & Wastewater Construction Laborers
(Craft Labor – Water/Wastewater Only)

Underground Water Utilities/Mechanical Pipe Workers

This role focuses on underground utilities and process/mechanical piping for water and wastewater facilities.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing underground water and wastewater lines (PVC, ductile iron, HDPE, copper)
  • Mechanical and process piping installation (flanged, mechanical joint, cut/thread, solvent weld)
  • Setting valves, hydrants, pumps, motors, backflow preventers, and plant equipment
  • Trenching, shoring, working in the street with multiple utility crossings
  • Pressure testing, flushing, disinfection, and system commissioning
  • Reading blueprints, utility maps, as-builts, and mechanical diagrams
  • Following trench safety, confined space, and utility safety regulations
  • Ideal Background:
  • Hands-on experience with underground utilities and mechanical piping in water/wastewater systems
  • Experience operating or working around heavy equipment (backhoe, trackhoe, skid steer)
  • Water distribution or pipefitting certifications are a plus
  • Structural Concrete Carpenters

    This role supports structural concrete construction within treatment plants and utility infrastructure.
    This is not a concrete finishing position.

    The focus is on formwork, layout, and structural preparation.

    Typical Responsibilities Include:

    • Build, install, and strip structural concrete forms (footings, walls, columns, slabs, and elevated structures)
    • Set and align wood, metal, and/or gang forms per drawings and specifications
    • Prepare work areas and ensure proper layout, elevations, and sub‑base conditions
    • Install rebar, embeds, anchor bolts, sleeves, and block‑outs
    • Read and interpret structural drawings and formwork details
    • Work closely with field crews to maintain schedule, safety, and quality standards
    • Maintain tools, forms, and materials in a safe, organized manner
    • Ideal Background:

      • Proven experience as a
        structural form setter or form carpenter
      • Strong understanding of form systems and reinforcing placement
      • Experience working on municipal, utility, industrial, or treatment plant projects preferred
      • Ability to work from blueprints and layout plans

    Water & Wastewater Construction Laborers

    This role provides hands-on support across underground utilities, mechanical work, and concrete operations.
    Typical Responsibilities Include:
  • Assisting with installation and repair of water and sewer mains, services, and structures
  • Supporting excavation, trenching, shoring, bedding, and backfilling
  • Assisting with pumps, valves, hydrants, lift stations, and treatment facility components
  • Performing general construction tasks: formwork, concrete placement, demolition, grading, site cleanup
  • Operating or assisting with light-to-medium construction equipment
  • Maintaining safe job sites and following OSHA, trench, and confined space requirements
  • Ideal Background:
  • Prior experience in water/wastewater construction strongly preferred
  • Willingness to work in trenches, confined spaces, and outdoor environments
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindset
