Your Role:Driving excellence through technicalexpertiseand innovation

Project Management personnelare responsible forthe overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of water/ wastewaterconstruction projects frominitialbudget through project closeout.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure customer satisfaction byidentifyingand exceeding client needs.

• Utilize software programs and templates to process,distributeand track all project documentation.

• Negotiatesubcontractorand materialbuyout, develop and negotiate subcontracts.

• Plan and schedule projects

• Manage jobs in progress including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, documentation, and ensuring quality and safety on every job.

• Manage project costs through ongoing evaluation of labor, material and equipment, continue to forecast and analyze construction costs,exposuresand profits through project completion

• Perform project closeout

• Capable of managing projects $20-$50 million in size

• Provide leadership through building relationships, motivating others, providing clear direction, and cooperative teamwork.

• Communicate effectively; both written and verbal

• Provide training and serve as a member to less experienced personnel

• Significant experienceas a manager of water wastewater construction activities in the field. Mustpossesssuperior construction knowledge, excellent personnel management skills, schedulingexpertise, goodknowledgeand use of cost control procedures.

• Safety comes first! Required to complete work in a safe,efficientandaccuratemanner.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

• Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related degree or commiserate experience is highly preferred

• Significant experienceas a manager of water wastewater construction activities in the field. Mustpossesssuperior construction knowledge, excellent personnel management skills, schedulingexpertise, goodknowledgeand use of cost control procedures.

• 5-10 years of experience in Water / Wastewater construction

• Moderate tohigh levelofproficiencyoperating Primavera 6 CPM scheduling software

• Moderate tohigh levelofproficiencyoperating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

• Valid driver license for frequent travel

• Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Full understanding of Construction Math concepts

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
