Winter-Spring 2027 MK Work & Study - University Life (Administrative)

Duties and responsibilities:

1) Answering phone calls and assisting students, parents, and vendors to be directed to right staff members;
2) Providing assistance for events such as completing online orders, making reservations, and preparing receipts;
3) Collecting necessary information from students including RSVPs;
4) Developing posters, flyers, handouts, etc.;
5) Making and scanning documents for records, customs, and other purposes;
6) Supporting the management of University Life social media account;
7) Maintaining the Office of University Life so that it is presentable to visitors; and
8) Other duties as assigned.

Desired qualifications:

1) Be proficient in English and Korean;
2) Be detail-oriented;
3) Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel;
4) Be able to work independently and efficiently while prioritizing a number of different tasks; and
5) Demonstrate strong work ethic.

Work Hours per student: 40 hours/week during break and 15 hours/week during semester sessions. Seeking 2 student(s).

Period: Jan 11 - Feb 19, 2027 during the break
Feb 22 - Jun 19, 2027 during the semester.

Students must meet the following requirements:
* Must have completed at least one semester at Mason Korea and have an official GPA record.
* Must be enrolled in at least 6 credits for the upcoming semester to be eligible. *Not registering for classes in the upcoming semester may lead to termination of the work-study contract.
* Be in good academic standing (Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher) **Include your Cumulative GPA on your resume.
Newly selected students will be required to attend an orientation session either during the break or semester. Those who are required to attend will be notified individually.

A note on break housing:
* Potential work & Study students can reach out to UL's Sr. Coordinator of Student Housing or IGC housing office directly, if they would like to receive more information about break housing.
* UL does not guarantee housing during the summer & winter breaks for the work & study program students who apply for the housing.
* However, since the break housing is usually offered on a first-come, first served bases, please note that the housing office cannot guarantee availability if all rooms are already occupied.
* Work & Student students will follow the same procedure as other students (application period, payment deadline, etc.) if they are planning to apply for break housing at IGC.
