We require an organised Yardman Driver with basic mechanical knowledge to join our site in Reading.

Your main role will be to create and maintain a safe and organised structure in the workshop / vehicle park. You will be expected to assist movement of the vehicles around the site whilst ensuring a safe environment is always upheld.

This position would be perfect if you are looking to come away from mechanics / the tools.

Other responsibilities include, but not limited to;

• Gathering information e.g mileage and service data
• See vehicles in
• Close working relationship with technicians
• Preparing vehicles to come into the workshop
• General tidiness of the yard
• Make sure vehicles are parked and organised
• Load and unload vehicles for MOT
• Collect and deliver in local area
• Assist with general housekeeping within the workshop

Skills and experience needed:

• Hold a current LGV licence
• Excellent customer service skills
• Forklift licence
• Current tacho card
