1 to 1 Special Education Aid

The 1 to 1 Special Education (SPED) Aide provides individualized support to a student throughout the school day to help them access instruction, participate in classroom activities, and achieve their educational goals. The aide works closely with classroom teachers and the Special Education team to implement accommodations, reinforce learning and behavioral strategies, encourage independence, and support the student's social, emotional, and academic development. The aide maintains confidentiality, fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment, and assists the student in transitioning between classes and school activities while promoting success in the least restrictive environment.
