You'll lead a skilled team of up to 12 technicians, from seasoned professionals to trainees, working across a variety of impressive sites. You will be accountable for driving revenue growth and managing costs to ensure a profitable and sustainable business unit.
Key responsibilities:
- Hands on leadership of a high performing team
- Delivering high-quality service on time and within budget
- Quoting, estimating, and scheduling work for a team
- Managing project profitability and achieving financial targets
- Health & safety standards, with a track record of meeting KPI targets
- Streamline operations and improve workflow efficiency
- Engage with customers and respond to enquiries professionally
- Represent the company in front of architects, engineers, and consultants
- Ensure all documentation aligns with policy and compliance standards
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- 5-7 years Sprinkler Management experience
- 3 years Divisional Management experience
- Ideally PS3 Author for Auckland region (fire sprinklers & alarms)
- Understanding of NZS:4541
- Experience managing performance of others in delivering service, minor works and /or projects, and the ability to coach teams to build competence
- Full P&L experience and management
- Ability to positively manage multiple demands from both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Either NZQA qualified is Sprinklers (or equivalent) qualification and / or relevant qualification in Project Management qualification (PMP, CCP or similar) or service delivery.
