Apartment Cleaner- Steger

What We are Looking For:

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is highly attentive to detail, and understands the importance of cleanliness in both shared and private living spaces.

Experience in custodial or janitorial roles, especially in residential or commercial settings, is preferred. A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are key to success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18-$19/hr

Schedule:

• 8AM to 4:30 PM (however hours may vary)

• Monday to Friday

• Weekends as needed

• Previousexperience as acleaner, janitor, or custodianin residential, commercial, or hospitality settings

• Familiarity with theproper use and care of cleaning equipment and chemicals

• Understanding ofsafe handling and disposal of cleaning agents and hazardous materials

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for keeping spaces clean and safe

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work

• Ability toliftupto50 pounds

What you will be doing:

As aCleaner, you willbe responsible forkeeping our apartment buildings andcommon areasin top condition. Your work will directly contribute to resident satisfaction and the overall appeal of the community. You willassistin both day-to-day cleaning duties and special projects, including preparing vacant units for new residents.

Core responsibilities include:

• Clean and sanitizehallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and othercommon areas

• Assistwithcleaning and preparing vacant unitsfor move-ins, including floors, appliances, and fixtures

• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the maintenance or management team

• Helpmaintainproperty grounds, including picking up debris, sweeping walkways, and emptying trash bins

• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company policies and safety guidelines

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is necessary

• Support other staff with occasional light maintenance or turnover tasks as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Where you will work:

This position will require you to work on-site at the property inSteger.
