JAGGAER is an AI-powered procure to pay and source to pay software solutions platform for manufacturing, public sector and higher education.

JAGGAER is looking for a Software Engineer to be on our Product Development Team that develops our Advanced Sourcing Optimizer application. We’re looking for an experienced developer with a passion for innovative design, the development of new features that carry the business forward, and the ability to learn and utilize existing platforms. Advanced Sourcing Optimizer is a microservices application, so this position is a great opportunity for a full-stack developer generalist who enjoys working in different languages and technology stacks.

Position Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software is desired
• Expert knowledge and experience in Perl preferred (Python, Ruby, or Java as a close substitute) and a willingness to work in Object-Oriented Perl are required.
• Willingness and ability to work primarily in US-based hours (Eastern Time) as needed to maximize team collaboration
• A deep understanding of web application programming and how web apps work in different stacks (experience with LAMP stack preferred).
• Experience with software development tools and methodologies such as version control (git), testing, debugging, and documentation
• Working knowledge of relational databases, database design, and SQL is critical; MySQL is preferred.
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust work schedule according to project needs and deadlines
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred
