ASSISTANT MANAGER (BERBICE)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure that sales and gross profit performance targets for the CSR’s assigned to the route supervisor are being consistently achieved, and that a YTD basis a reserve bank is being created in excess of targets.
• To supervise CSR’s and provide feedback to them on the following KPI’s, which must be consistently improved:
• Distribution coverage
• Visitation rate
• Range selling
• Effective call rate
• Exhibition/Visibility
• Safe driving record
• Trade visits with CSR’s to provide training, guidance and development.
• To review the CSR’s incentive plans and recommend changes based on value creation.
• Coordinate and direct all aspects of sales activities in assigned area.
• Regular visits to routes to ensure products distributed and merchandised properly.
• Advice/report on adequacy of support materials available/required for retailers.
• Undertake competitive analysis to determine position of the of the brand relative to the competition.
• Monitor stock levels at retailers to ensure optimum quantities and rotation.
• Accompany CSR’s on assigned routes as required to obtain feedback and to ensure products are given the required attention and prominence.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Management or Related Field
• At least 3 to 5 years in a Management Position
• Customer Focused & Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills
