More about the role:

As an Assistant Manager – Sales , you will be responsible for driving new business development, managing client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth of the organization. The role requires a strong understanding of media, communications, or PR sales, along with the ability to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and deliver business results. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

  • Drive new business acquisition and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Achieve assigned revenue targets for India and international distribution services.
  • Retain and grow existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Participate in new business brainstorming, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Manage client programs while ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Oversee account administration activities, including billing and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to overall team development.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • 4–5 years of sales experience in the media, communications, PR, or service industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Experience in preparing proposals, presentations, and participating in client pitches.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Self-driven professional with a positive attitude, creativity, and a passion for learning.
