Backend Engineer (Python & AWS)

Descripción del puesto / Funciones

• Architecture & Design: Understand the project architecture and design documentation related to the Disaster Recovery (DR) implementation for the Control Plane.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain Terraform/OpenTofu IaC to create required AWS cloud artifacts, specializing in backup/recovery mechanisms, master-slave systems, data replication, and reconciliation.

• CI/CD & DR Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines to recover end users, tenant data, and application states during a disaster scenario.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement unit tests and end-to-end tests to validate system quality, fault tolerance, and DR readiness.

• Documentation & Execution: Document all DR procedures clearly and execute/test the full end-to-end disaster recovery process successfully.

• Compliance & Collaboration: Ensure system compliance with key regulations (GDPR, DORA) while collaborating with multi-disciplinary stakeholders across client, security, data, tech, legal, and product teams.

Requisitos mínimos

• Core Technical Expertise: Solid backend development experience using Python and Shell scripting.

• AWS Cloud Native Stack: Hands-on experience with AWS Cognito, IAM, Lambda, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, KMS, CodePipeline, and CodeBuild.

• Database & IaC: Experience with MongoDB and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OpenTofu).

• Disaster Recovery Focus: Experience developing backup/recovery mechanisms, data replication, master-slave systems, and data reconciliation.

• Languages: Fluency in English (written and oral).

• Soft Skills: High autonomy, proactive mindset, analytical problem-solving skills, precision with technical details, and the ability to thrive in a distributed team and fast-paced environment.

Requisitos valorables

• eAdditional Tech Stack: Experience with Auth0, Pytest, OpenAPI standards, and asynchronous programming/communication.

• Methodologies & Security: Knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban, alongside strong security practices in software development and Identity & Access Management (IAM).

• Certifications: Relevant certifications or training in Agile methodologies, AWS, or MongoDB.
