Binance Accelerator Program (BAP) is a 3-6 month internship program designed for Early Career talent to have firsthand experience in the rapidly expanding digital assets space. Responsibilities

  • Conduct cutting-edge research on modern cryptographic protocols, including post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, signature aggregation, and proof systems for blockchain applications.
  • Explore and benchmark NIST post-quantum signature standards and emerging constructions from recent academic literature.
  • Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to translate research outcomes into practical applications.
  • Publish research findings and contribute to open-source cryptographic projects when appropriate.
  • Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Cryptography, or a closely related field
  • Strong theoretical or practical knowledge of cryptography, in areas such as post-quantum signatures, MPC/threshold protocols, zero-knowledge proofs, or interactive proof systems (e.g., sumcheck-based protocols)
  • Proficiency in at least one of Rust, C++, or Python
  • Ability to read and reason about security proofs from academic literature
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior research experience or publications in post-quantum cryptography, threshold signatures, or verifiable computation
  • Familiarity with blockchain architectures, smart contract platforms, or on-chain signature verification constraints
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate research workflows
