Body and Paint Workshop Manager

Job Purpose

Manage and oversee the entire Body and Paint workshop operations to ensure high-quality vehicle repair and painting services, maximum customer satisfaction, and operational profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, lead, and develop the Body and Paint workshop team, including technicians and painters.
• Coordinate workshop activities to ensure timely completion of body repairs and painting tasks.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Monitor quality control to maintain high standards of work.
• Manage workshop resources, including tools, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency.
• Develop and manage budgets and schedules for the workshop operations.
• Oversee customer communication to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns related to body and paint services.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop productivity and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with warranty and insurance policies related to body and paint repairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in body and paint workshop management within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive body repair and painting techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of workshop safety standards and procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
