Business Analyst - Product

Your mission

• Maintain and improve reporting, data mapping, and data quality standards across the product, using strong fund knowledge and working SQL skills to identify, investigate, and resolve data issues
• Own day-to-day data validation and quality checks, investigating anomalies and assessing the impact of data issues on clients, reporting, and downstream product functionality
• Track regulatory developments across PRIIPs, Solvency II, CCI, SFDR, AIFMD, and related frameworks, and translate regulatory requirements into clear product and data implications
• Take client and business feature requests from initial discovery through to development-ready specifications, owning the analysis, requirements, and documentation trail
• Translate business, client, regulatory, and data requirements into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
• Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of product features, from initial analysis and requirements gathering through development, testing, UAT, and release
• Support backlog grooming and prioritisation by assessing requirements, dependencies, data implications, and potential impact across the product
• Participate in UAT and feature validation, using a strong understanding of fund data and product functionality to identify issues, challenge outputs, and ensure requirements have been met
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify industry trends, client needs, and opportunities that inform product development and roadmap priorities
• Own client queries end to end, using your fund knowledge and understanding of the product to investigate issues, provide clear explanations, and drive queries through to resolution
• Act as the bridge between the Client Operations Team, clients, and engineering, ensuring client-reported issues and complex queries are clearly understood, appropriately prioritised, and effectively communicated
• Capture, structure, and analyse client feedback and feature requests, ensuring relevant insights are fed into product development and roadmap planning
• Prepare clear, accurate, and client-focused release notes, product communications, and supporting documentation for new features, regulatory changes, and product enhancements
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality, and product functionality, taking a structured and analytical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement

Your profile

• Business or quantitative education and a minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience in a BA role
• Solid understanding of the asset management industry
• Client-focused, fast-learning, and problem-solving personality
• Strong interest in the asset management industry
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• English is a must, other languages are a plus
