We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at SPAR Newcastle.

Prepare, cook, and present food to a high standard

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control where required
Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Contribute to a positive and customer-focused environment

Requirements
Previous experience working as a Chef or in a similar kitchen role
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
Understanding of food safety, HACCP, and health & hygiene standards
Ability to prepare and present food to a consistently high standard
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
High attention to detail and commitment to food quality
Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach
Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours in line with business needs
