Are you an experienced Engineering or Manufacturing professional with expertise in chemical compliance, environmental regulations, and responsible sourcing?

Join GPV Lanka (Private) Ltd. as a Chemical Compliance Manager and play a key role in strengthening chemical compliance, sustainability, material compliance, and regulatory readiness across the organization.

🔹 Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop standardized chemical compliance processes, systems, and controls
• Monitor chemical regulations and assess their impact on the organization
• Manage material compliance, responsible sourcing, and supplier due diligence
• Provide technical guidance and review customer chemical compliance declarations and deliverables
• Ensure data quality, documentation control, and audit readiness
• Lead cross-functional projects, team development, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Take responsibility for the development of OnePortal, our internal chemical compliance system, and related correspondence
• Ensure adherence to policies and requirements related to RoHS, REACH, CMRT, and other regulatory material compliance requirements
• Support product chemical compliance and sustainability activities
• Ensure regulatory obligations for material declarations are fulfilled across relevant sites under the HydraSpecma Group Strategy & ESG function.

Requirements

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Mechanics field
🎓 Master’s Degree in Mechanics / Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage
💼 5+ years of experience in Engineering or Manufacturing
🌱 Proven experience in chemical compliance, environmental compliance, or a related field
📋 Strong knowledge of chemical regulations, preferably within the EU, product environmental reporting, and responsible sourcing
🤝 Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
