Welcome to Warehouse Country. Christmas starts here. 

For generations of Kiwis, The Warehouse has been part of Christmas. It's where families come for gifts, decorations, toys, stocking fillers, and everything else that makes the festive season special. 

But behind every great Christmas shop is an amazing team making it happen. 

We're looking for fixed-term Christmas Team Members to join us for our busiest time of the year. Whether you're helping customers on the shopfloor or creating great experiences at checkouts, you'll play an important role in bringing the magic of Christmas to life. 

Start dates vary from mid-September through to mid-November, with positions running until around mid-January. And for many of our seasonal team members, it's just the beginning. This could be your first step towards a longer-term career with The Warehouse Group. #StartHereGoAnywhere

As a Christmas Team Member, you'll help create the welcoming, friendly atmosphere that makes Warehouse Country such a special place to shop. 

On the shop floor, you'll help customers find everything they need for a memorable Christmas. From finding the perfect gift and reaching that item on the top shelf, to keeping displays looking their best and supporting our Nightfill teams to keep shelves fully stocked, you'll make sure customers can shop with ease. 

At checkouts, you'll be the final part of a customer's Christmas journey. From scanning gifts and packing purchases with care to helping with last-minute festive finds, you'll make every interaction a positive one and help create a great in-store experience. 

Qualifications

We're after people who: 

• Love helping customers and creating great experiences  
• Bring positive energy and a can-do attitude 
• Take initiative and enjoy staying busy 
• Work well independently and as part of a team 
• Are reliable and ready to roll up their sleeves when things get hectic 

Retail experience is great, but it's not essential. If you've got the right attitude, we'll help with the rest. 

We're especially keen to hear from people with strong availability throughout December and public holidays. That's when Warehouse Country is at its busiest and the Christmas magic is in full swing.

We also require all applicants to have current right to work in New Zealand.
