Job Description

As a Cleared Security Officer in Longmont, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment through clear communication and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other guests by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Monitor and manage visitor entry, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and communicate professionally with personnel, visitors, and appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or suspicious behavior, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
