Job Description

As a Security Officer-Cleared Facility in Longmont, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badging, monitor entry activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Using computer or tablet systems, you will help maintain a secure, orderly environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. Through teamwork and integrity, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk of an aerospace and defense location by following site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and visitor management protocols.
• Greet visitors, contractors, and employees professionally; verify identification and authorization; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Support a professional and orderly reception environment by answering inquiries, directing visitors, and communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
