Job Summary**

Responsible for full life-cycle recruitment of skilled craft personnel for heavy civil construction projects in Louisiana, ensuring timely and quality hires to support project needs.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified craft professionals, including laborers, equipment operators, pipe layers, carpenters, welders, and other skilled trades.
* Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, industry contacts, vocational schools, and community outreach programs.
* Conduct thorough screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
* Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
* Collaborate closely with project managers and superintendents to understand staffing requirements and project timelines.
* Facilitate pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screenings, and new hire paperwork.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future project needs.
* Represent Primoris Heavy Civil at career fairs, industry events, and recruitment drives.
* Negotiate offers and extend employment to successful candidates.
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Job Qualifications**

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in craft recruiting, preferably within heavy civil construction, industrial, or related fields.
* Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing skilled craft professionals.
* Strong understanding of various construction trades and their specific skill sets.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
* Willingness to travel locally within Louisiana to project sites and recruitment events.
* High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
